Senior Software Engineer – .NET + React (Hybrid – Cork)

A growing Irish technology company is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join its product development team. This organisation builds a widely used cloud-based platform that helps professional services firms.

This is a hybrid role based in Cork. You will join a collaborative engineering team focused on delivering high-quality, scalable software and continuously improving the platform’s capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain features for a cloud-based SaaS platform

• Build robust backend services using .NET and C#

• Develop modern frontend interfaces using React

• Work with Azure cloud services to deploy and scale applications

• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver new functionality

• Contribute to architectural decisions and technical improvements across the platform

• Write clean, maintainable code and participate in peer code reviews

• Help drive best practices in testing, performance, and security

Required Experience

• 5+ years of professional software development experience

• Strong backend development experience with .NET / C#

• Frontend development experience with React or a similar modern framework

• Experience working with Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms

• Solid understanding of REST APIs, distributed systems, and modern software architecture

• Experience working within Agile development teams

Nice to Have

• Experience building SaaS platforms or enterprise products

• Knowledge of document processing or workflow systems

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing

• Exposure to DevOps practices and cloud infrastructure
